Target Audience:
The Executive Leadership Curriculum (ELC) is designed to train
company leaders and aspiring leadership team members in the
principles of establishing company systems and programs based
upon the “best practices” of the Homebuilding
Industry’s most successful privately held companies.
Targeted job titles in this category will include President,
CEO, Building Company Owner/Chairman of the Board, Executive
Vice President, Chief Operations Officer, Chief Financial
Officer, Director or VP of Construction, Director or VP of
Sales and Marketing, Director or VP of Administration and
Human Resources.
Delivery
Mechanism:
The Executive Leadership Curriculum (ELC) will be presented
via monthly web broadcasted (with telephone audio connection)
live sessions from February through November of 2005. They
will be held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 1 PM
Eastern Time.
Registration
and program moderation will be handled by KRM a professional
web program development and broadcast company from Madison,
WI.
Objectives:
The objective of the ELC is to develop each participant’s
ability to better manage themselves and their organizations.
The emphasis will be on efficient management practices and
systems.
Teaching
Points:
The teaching points of the ELC will include a series of personal
development skills such as management of time, management
of personnel, running successful meetings, how to prepare
and plan for the future, balancing personal and business priorities
and divestiture.
Additionally,
the ELC will have a series of organizational development teaching
points including the systems approach to success, hiring and
developing the best personnel, structuring incentive programs
that emphasize productivity and accomplishment. Systems will
be included in the areas of Sales, Production, Purchasing,
IT, personnel and Information technology.
Class
Schedule:
Starting February 24 and each fourth Thursday through October,
the ELC will be presented at 1 PM Eastern Time. Each class
is scheduled for 90 minutes in length and includes Q&A
time during and after the program.
The
last program is a bonus offered to the owners of firms whose
team has attended at least two programs during the ELC series
for 2005. It is priced at 50% of the normal tuition. It is
free to any owner who has purchased and attended the entire
ELC series for 2005.
As
of this printing date, classes are tentative pending final
approval of content and schedule acceptance by KRM.
Fees and Tuition:
The single event fee is $299/site per class offering. The
entire Executive Leadership Curriculum (ELC) of nine courses
is offered at an upfront cost of $2,199. This is an 18% DISCOUNT.
Plus the 10th bonus Owners Only class is free for those firms
purchasing the entire series. Each site registration allows
for as many people from the same firm as desire and can listen
and see the computer screen or projection device to participate
for this one low price.
Any
firm attending at least two of the ELC series classes will
be eligible to attend the bonus program for 50% ($150) of
the standard $299 single class tuition rate.
SMA
Consulting Retainer based clients ( Advisory Board, Executive
Management, Controller or CFO clients) are eligible to attend
for the single class rate of $250 or the upfront full series
rate of $1,750.
