Orlando,
FL, January 11, 2005—SMA Consulting today announced
that is has launched Builder’s On-Line Training, a virtual
campus that will offer a continuing series of live, distance-learning
(and archived, on-demand) educational 90-minute seminars that
teach “best-practices” to US residential homebuilders
of any size.
Management
and supervisory personnel from any homebuilding organization
can now attend (or retrieve on-demand) Builders' On-Line Training
educational seminars. Builder’s On-Line Training will
teach management and supervisory personnel best-practice approaches
in four areas that commonly need improvement and advanced

Financial Management, and Executive Leadership training. Attending
these web-based educational seminars, a.k.a. “webinars,”

Tuition for many courses will be under $300, with discounts

company renowned for its best-practices consulting to the
homebuilding industry and their client list is a “who’s
who” of the nation’s leading and most-successful
homebuilders. The Builder’s Training Group has assembled
a world class faculty of homebuilding experts to present their
in-depth curricula.
“With
the launch of Builder’s On-Line Training, SMA Consulting
has taken the dramatic step of offering something truly unique
and otherwise unavailable to US residential homebuilders:
distance learning that accesses an extensive, proven curriculum
for the industry,” said Steve Maltzman, President of
SMA Consulting. “Until now, a homebuilder’s management
or line staff had few training options, except for expensive
custom training, traveling to a one-time seminar, or attending
sessions at annual national conferences. With Builders' On-Line
Training, management and supervisors can attend ‘live,’
interactive training sessions, or retrieve and watch archived
training sessions on-demand.”
The first offering will be on February 24, 2005, 1:00 PM EST,
entitled: “How to Avoid the ‘Profit Pitfalls’
of Growing Your Company.” The webinar instructor will
be Bob Whitten. Mr. Whitten, VP of SMA Consulting, has more
than 20 years of industry experience and is widely known for
his past work as Chief Operations and Financial Officer for
Wayne Homes (Ohio) which he helped grow from $20 million to
$60 million in revenue, while simultaneously increasing gross
profit margin from 20% to 34%, before the company was sold
to Centex (NYSE: CTX). To pre-register for the course, visit
